£90m For Romelu Lukaku Or Nothing – Manchester United
Inter Milan, may need to cough out £90m for Romelu Lukaku if they need his services as Manchester United is not ready to part with the player, until they recoup the sign on fee paid to Everton for the Belgian International.
A formal offer is yet to be made by Inter, but a meeting was held between the clubs on Thursday in London.
Everton was paid £75m plus £15m in add-ons for Lukaku to move from Goodison Park to Old Trafford, two years ago. Everton is also to be paid £5m on any amount paid for Lukaku.
United insist they will not sell Lukaku cheaply in an inflated marketplace and having been forced to bring out £50m for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Leicester City’s valuation of Harry Macguire, a United target for £90m, also makes things worse for Inter in their quest to get Lukaku.
