A passenger jet was stopped from taking off in South Africa after a foetus was found inside the toilet

According to report ,the foetus was found by the cleaners, abandoned in the toilet of the plane today at about 6.15am on the domestic FlySafair airline as the plane was being prepared for a take off from coastal city of Durban to Johannesburg.

Passengers who were on board were offloaded and a police investigation launched

Reacting to the discovery, the airline ,FlySafair said the ‘tragic finding’ prompted the offloading of all passengers to allow investigation.

Kirby Gordon, Head of Sales and Distribution at FlySafair said.

“Immediately the teams alerted the relevant authorities to initiate investigations.

“Unfortunately, this has resulted in delay to flight FA411 as passengers were asked to disembark the aircraft while FlySafair initiated procedures to recover their onward journey.”

“We will be doing everything within our power to aid authorities in the necessary investigations and thank our loyal customers for their patience with the resultant delay.

The police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele confirmed the incident and said :
