AAC expels Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, the National Chairman and Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the last election, has been expelled from the party .

Sowore’s suspension was announced by the party during its National convention which was held in Owerri, Imo State on August 9.

The party also suspended 28 other memebrs of the party .

Leonard Nzenwa is now the party’s new national chairman as announced by party in the convention .

Sowore is currently being held by the Department of State Services over the #RevolutionNow protests.
