Anambra Lawyers In Lagos On A Protest Over Killing Of Nigerians In South Africa

Today, at the outside premises of the South Africa’s High Commission, Victoria Island Lagos, were lawyers who was said to be under the forum of the Anamabra State Indigenous Lawyers seen to be protesting over the numerous killings of Nigerians in the South Africa, by the South Africans.

It was gathered that what triggered the protest today was the recent killing of one of their daughters Mrs. Elizabeth Ndubuisi-Chukwu who was the Deputy Director-General of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

The protest took the lawyers to the streets of Sinari Daranijo, which houses the South Africa High Commission building.

Joe Nwokedi, who is the leader of the forum, after the protest told newsmen that the death of Elizabeth Ndubuisi-Chukwu is a huge crime to be chided away with.

However, despite the serious protest, nobody from the high commission, came out to address the protesters.
