Anthony Joshua loses heavy weight championship to Andy Ruiz

The battle for the heavy weight champion wasn’t an easy one last night as Mexican boxer, Andy Ruiz defeats Anthony Joshua.

It came as a shock as Andy Ruiz strips Anthony Joshua of his IBF, WBO and WBA titles to become the new heavy weight champion.

The fight which took place at the new York’s Madison Square Garden, Nigerian Anthony Joshua lost to Andy Ruiz four times en route to a seventh-round stoppage which was by chance.

In his Instagram page, Anthony Joshua consented to defeat saying I got beaten by a good fighter” “it will be interesting to see how far he goes, but this is all part of the Journey”

He finally added;

He’s a champion for now, I shall return”
