Ayo Fayose re-arraigned before a new judge in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commssion (EFCC) today, 2nd July, 2019, re-arraigned ex-Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose in a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos over alleged N6.9billion fraud.

Recall that EFCC first arraigned Fayose on October 22, 2018, before Justice Mojisola Olatoregun, together with Spotless Investment Ltd on 11 counts bordering on fraud and money laundering.

He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail on October 24, 2018 with two sureties.

The case was later transferred from Olatoregun to Justice Chuwkujekwu Aneke by the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Adamu Abdukafarati, following a petition by the EFCC.
