BREAKING: One dies as truck crushes taxi in Abuja
A truck conveying a tractor developed failed brakes and crushed a taxi in Nyanya, Abuja, killing a middle aged woman at the spot .
The incident, which occurred at 9.40 am, saw the truck with registration number KSB379XA (Kwara) plough into several vehicles before coming to a halt at Nyanya bus stop.
The deceased was said to be sitting in the passenger seat of the parked taxi which was the last affected vehicle.
The driver of the truck reportedly abandoned the truck and took to his heels to avoid mob action.
