Court orders forfeiture of Diezani Alison-Madueke ‘s Jewelry(photos)
Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has today July 5th ordered the forfeiture of the Jewelry seized from Diezani Alison-Madueke to the Federal Government.
The Jewelry and a customized gold iPhone valued at $40m belonging to Diezani Alison, former Minister of Petroleum Resources are to be forfeited to the Federal Government .
The order followed an application filed by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC ), stating that the luxury items were acquired with stolen money.
