Dozens of suspected kidnappers, robbers arrested in Kano -Police

Kano State police command has arrested dozens of suspected criminals over alleged involvement in robbery, kidnapping, and currency counterfeiting.

Sixteen of the suspects were arrested for kidnapping while 9 were arrested for armed robbery.

The suspects who were paraded on Friday by the Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Iliyasu Ahmed, were arrested during last Sallah celebration.

Also during the Sallah celebration, police arrested thirty-four thugs, ‘Yandaba’, in various locations with “dangerous weapons”.

51 other suspects were also nabbed for being in possession of cannabis and other banned substances while two kidnapped victims were rescued .
