Ed Buck, Democratic donor, arrested for operating a drug house and preying on gay black men

Edward Buck, a prominent Democratic donor and activist, was arrested on Tuesday after investigators said a man suffered a methamphetamine overdose in his West Hollywood home.

Mr Edward, who donated to former President Barack Obama and former Democratic Party presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, was charged with battery causing serious injury, administering methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house .

He allegedly injected a 37-year-old man with methamphetamine in his home though the man survived the overdose . Some years ago similar incident occured in his house.

Two gay black men died of drug overdose in his house – Gemmel Moore, 26, died of a methamphetamine overdose in July 2017 while Timothy Dean, 55, died in the same way in January 2019.

His prosecution was stalled in 2017 as prosecutors cited lack of evidence.

They believe Mr Buck has a fetish involving ”supplying and personally administering dangerously large doses of narcotics to his victims.

“Buck is clearly a predator with no regard for human life,” prosecutors said, according to NBC News.

“His behaviour is malicious and beyond reckless.

“His fetish led to the grooming and eventual death of Gemmel Moore.

Undeterred, defendant Buck then engaged in the exact same behaviour with Timothy Dean, leading to his untimely death.

Shockingly, defendant Buck continued his path of destruction, nearly causing another fatal incident.

“His deadly behaviour has not stopped.”

Mr Edward faces up to five years and eight months in prison if convicted.
