Governor Nyesom Wike rescues former NDDC Acting MD, Joy Nunieh from “house arrest” (videos)

The former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joy Nunieh, was rescued today by Governor Nyesom Wike from “house arrest”.

Joy, who is to testify today,Thursday July 16, was stopped from leaving her home by policemen who stormed her apartment in the morning .

It was gathered that the Rivers state Governor forcefully gained entrance into Joy Nunieh’s residence, ordered the police officers out and later drove off with her.

Joy had also been enmeshed in a public face-off with Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio who she accused of embezzlement and sexually harassing her.
