Kenyan Lady intercepted by Officials of the NDLEA while trying to smuggle drugs.

The female Kenyan model was apprehended by the National Drug Law enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) while she was trying to smuggle about
6.5 kilogrammes of cocaine through the Abuja international Airport.

Sources gathered that she was arrested on arrival from South Africa aboard an Ethiopian Airline flight to Abuja while the substance was in her traveling bag.

When interrogated, she said a friend asked her to help deliver a package filled with clothes to an unknown person in Abuja and the package was brought to her by an errand boy before she left.

She was to deliver the consignment to the husband of the sender who was to meet her at the NAIA, Abuja. .

She claimed to be on her second trip to Nigeria to procure home-made body beauty products and local fabrics for her enterprise called La Model in South Africa and Kenya. .

She has since denied that she was involved in the transaction for any financial gain but later said her daughter was suffering from leukemia.
