Sports: Kieran Trippier officially an Atletico Madrid Player
Tottenham Hotspur defender, Kieran Trippier becomes first English player in 95 years to sign for Atletico Madrid.
The Tottenham Hotspur full-back signs a four year deal worth £20m.
The Atletico boss requested for the 28 year old, because he believes Trippier has what it takes to establish the new back four that is needed.
Kieran arrived at Madrid on Wednesday morning and has already been compared to David Beckham in terms of delivery from the right flank and quality set pieces.
Italian giants, Juventus and Napoli have both shown interest on the Bury- born defender who attracted Real Madrid’s attention last summer.
The La liga side, Atletico has now won the race for the right back as he is seen as the ideal replacement for Juanfran.
