Man arrested over the murder of a Unzik female student.

The suspect, Onudili Somotochukwu, was arrested following a discreet investigation after the death of the female student.

The student, Chinaza Pauline Agbata, a 22-year-old 300 level student of the Nnamdi Azukwe University, Awka, Anambra State, was murdered few months ago and the police just arrested the suspected murderer.

The spokesperson of the police in Anambra state, confirmed the arrest of the said suspect.
The spokesperson said, the deceased was murdered on the 20th of March, 2019, after which her body was dumped in front of the school gate around 7:30pm on the said date.

Following the gruesome murder of the student, Police detectives attached to the special Anti-Robbery squad(SARS), started a manhunt for the murderers of the deceased student. The manhunt lead to the arrest of Mr. Onudili, a 15-year-old man.

The police command in Awka, Anambra State, said the suspect has so far given reasonable information to the Police and some valuables such as 3 handsets of the his victims and that of Miss. Chinaza was also recovered.
