Outrage as 21-year-old boy is allegedly being married off because he has the SS genotype
Family of a 22-year-old boy said to be a Sickler has been accused of trying to marry him off so he could give them children before it becomes too late .
A Twitter user who raised the alarm said the boy’s family is afraid that he may not live long due to his ailment.
This has angered Twitter users as many of them condemned the action, others tried to justify it by saying it’s common in Nigeria especially among families who have SS genotype kids .
