Police, Shi’ites clash again, gunshots fired( video )

Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeira have clashed with police officers again, following an attempt by them to stage another protest today .

This is less than 24 hours after a violent clash with police, which claimed many lives including that of a senior police officer and a Channels TV reporter.

According to report, members of the Shi’ite group gathered around Banex area in Wuse 2 Abuja to begin another protest today, an attempt by the security officers to stop them led to another round of shooting.

Shop owners around that area closed their shops and fled for safety .
