Prince Harry and Meghan Markle christened son

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had their son Archie christened on Saturday at the Queen Elizabeth ‘s private chapel at the Windsor Castle.

According to a royal source, the couple chose the location because they ” wanted an intimate peaceful setting in a place with such a special connection to Her Majesty.”

The ceremony was attended by 25 close friends and family members, including her mother Doria Ragland as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton, who wore a pink Stella McCartney dress.

In a family portrait shared on the couple’s Instagram account, Prince Archie’s grand parents, Prince Charles and wife Camila were also in attendance with princes Diana ‘s sisters lady Sarah McCorquodale and lady Jane Fellowes.

Sharing the black and white/coloured photos, Kensington Palace wrote;

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to share the happiness of this day, and would like to thank everyone around the world for their ongoing support. They feel so fortunate to have enjoyed this special moment with family and Archie’s godparents.

Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie was Christened at the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle.
