SPORTS: Nigeria On The Verge Of Making Another Great History In The World’s Curling Game Championship

Nigeria is about making another great landmark in the sports world at the ongoing World Mixed Curling Games Championship going in at Aberdeen, Scotland. This game serves as a qualifier for the 2022 Winter games at Benji, China.
Nigeria is in group F with Afghanistan, Czech republic, Spain, Finland, France, Hong Kong and Slovenia. The best two from the group will qualify for the second round of the 43 teams Championship as well as the four 3rd best-ranked teams.
Nigeria’s Curlers will open the game on the 12th of October 2019. The game is expected to last from the 12th-19th of October 2019.
It is on record that Nigeria’s team is the first in Africa to ever engage in Curling games with T.J and Susan competing a the Mixed Championship in Norway last April. Nigeria’s team is also recorded as the first African team to have won the Europeans in Curling game.
