Suspected killers of Kogi PDP Women Leader arrested

The Kogi State Police Command has arrested six persons in connection with the gruesome murder of one Mrs Salome Abuh, at Ochadamu, Ofu Local Government Area of the state, on November 18.

Mrs. Salome was the Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Kogi State .

She was burnt to death by political thugs in her husband’s house at Ochadamu.

Confirming the arrest of the suspects, the state police command spokesperson, William Ayah, said the suspects were brought in on Friday.

He said the police had started interrogating the suspects to ascertain their level of culpability in the death of Mrs Abuh.

Ayah said that the outcome of the investigation would be made public as soon as it was completed.
