Tinubu faces massive backlash after calling Lagos youths ‘lazy’

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of former governor of Lagos State, Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu has come under fire for saying that lazy Lagos youths are always in her house for free money.

The senator representing Lagos Central District had said that “our youths are lazy because they want to be like the people abroad” among a host of comments aimed at Lagos youths.

This surely did not go down well with some Nigerian youths who’ve taken to social media to blast the senator describing the statement as not appropriate and unacceptable considering the fact that she’s part of the Government that has done nothing to impact the lives of unemployed youths in her senatorial district.

Some people were also of the opinion that she would not have said this if it were during election where the help of the youths would have been needed.
