“Tinubu was more focused on defending herdsmen than on consoling the bereaved” – Reno Omokri reacts to Tinubu’ s speech
During his condolence visit at Pa Fasoranti’s home in Akure Ondo State capital, Bola Tinubu lashed out at those blaming Fulani herdsmen for the death of Funke Olakunrin.
Reacting to the allegation that Fulani Herdsmen carried out the attack, he said no tribe or set of people are well known for kidnapping and questioned if Evans is a herdsmen.
It seems his speech didn’t go down well with Femi Fani-Kayode(FFK) and Reno Omokri as they took to Twitter to call him out .
FFK said, ‘
I listened to Tinubu’s slurred speech and utter nonsense at Pa Fasoranti’s home. He was inconsiderate and insensitive. He was not there to mourn or commiserate with Pa, he was there to mock him, to pour salt in his wounds, to play politics and to speak for his Fulani masters.
Reno Omokri on his part said,
I commend Bola Tinubu for paying a condolence visit to Afenifere leader, Pa Fasoranti, over the killing of his daughter by suspected herdsmen. Sadly, during the visit, Tinubu was more focused on defending herdsmen than on consoling the bereaved.
