Trending: Police reveal names of abducted RCCG pastors

The Ogun State Police Command has revealed the names of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, pastors abducted on Friday while they were on their way to the Redemption Camp to attend ministers’ conference.

The police also said they have discovered the forest where the five abducted pastors were kept at the Ogbere – Ijebu – Ode (Ogun State) stretch of the Lagos –Ore expressway.

They gave the names of the abducted pastors as : Chidioze Eluwa, Chiemela Iroha, Okoro Ohowukwe, Ndubuizi Owuabueze, and Ibeleji Chidinma (female).

The commercial bus with plate number KW 230 XA- in which the kidnapped victims were traveling from Abia State to Lagos, was stopped by about 10 hoodlums, according to Ogun state command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi.

Oyeyemi revealed that bus, owned by Abia line Transport Company, was stopped at the J3 area of Ogbere in Ijebu Waterside local government area of the state .

He further said the police had successfully “geo – locate” the hideout of the kidnappers where the incident occurred.

He added that a rescue team led by the Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, had been sent to the location with a view to rescuing the victims .
