20 dead in mass shooting at Walmart in El Paso — suspect in custody

Twenty people have been killed and 26 wounded after a gunman opened fire at a Texas Walmart shopping center in El Paso on August 3.

The gunman, who used a riffle in the attack, has been identified as Partick Wood Crusius,26, a white male from Allen Texas, according to El Paso police .

El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen said the shooting could be a hate crime based on a “manifesto” authorities believe is connected to the suspect.

The diatribe, which was posted online, is anti-immigrant and anti-government.

Right now we have a manifesto from this individual that indicates to some degree that it has a nexus to a potential hate crime, Allen said.

Police also said they believe there was only one shooter, even though multiple shooters were previously reported.

Sylvia Saucedo, who filmed the video while hiding underneath the table, recounted her ordeal on Facebook in Spanish.

She wrote:

What a horrible experience! Shooting in Walmart in Cielo Vista!

My mum and I were underneath the table filming this because 911 didn’t answer! I imagine that all of us that were there were calling at the same time. We’re so grateful to God for having looked after us.

Trump reacted to the mass shooting in Twitter, he wrote

Terrible shootings in ElPaso, Texas. Reports are very bad, many killed. Working with State and Local authorities, and Law Enforcement. Spoke to Governor to pledge total support of Federal Government. God be with you all!
