The Black Stars of Ghana have been eliminated from the ongoing AFCON in Egypt.
The Ghananians who met the Cartage Eagles of Tunisia at the Round of Sixteen, came into the match as clear favourites.
However, after a goalless draw in the first half, the Tunisian National team took the lead in the second half and were zooming into victory only for substitute, Rami Bedoui to score an own goal with his head, in his first touch at the dying minutes, to give Ghana a draw.
The match went into extra time and ended without each side finding the net.
Penalty kicks then decided the game with the Tunisian Goalkeeper, Moustapha, a substitute making an important save from the third kick taken by Ekuban, to keep the scores at 4:5 in favour of Tunisia.
It would be the first time Tunisia had a win over the Ghananian National team.
