BREAKING: Owner of SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore, arrested by DSS
Owner of SaharaReporters and candidate of the African Action Congress in the February 2019 presidential election, Mr. Omowole Sowore, has been arrested by the operatives of the Department of State Services(DSS).
Sahara Reporters which broke the news online said Sowore was arrested in the early hours of Saturday at about 1.2a.m by the operatives of DSS.
He was arrested at his residence.
Early this morning, at exactly 1.25am, Sowore posted a distress tweet .

An eyewitness confirmed his phone was forcefully taken from him .
According to a Twitter user his car was damaged in the process of arresting him .
