Three dead, two injured in Ondo road accident
Three people have been confirmed dead and two others injured in a ghastly road accident which occurred in the early hours of Friday October 4.
According to reports, a Lexus car carrying five passengers lost control and rammed into a stationary truck along Oyemekun road in Akure city of Ondo state.
Ondo State’s commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Rotimi Adeleye, who confirmed the incident said they were alerted of the accident at about 5am.
He said investigations revealed that the vehicle was on top speed and the occupants were drunk.
According to Adeleye, three passengers including the driver died on the spot while the other two occupants were in critical conditions.
