AFCON 2021: CAF draw pairs Nigeria with Sierra Leone,Lesotho and Benin

Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Lesotho have been drawn in Group L of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations which is to take place in Cameroon.

This was announced by the confederation of African Football(CAF) on Thursday, in cairo Eygpt, less than 24 hours to the final match of the 2019 edition of AFCON being held in Egypt .

A total of 48 teams were classified in 12 groups with 4 teams in each group .The top two sides from each group will qualify for the showpiece that will be held in Cameroon.

The 2021 AFCON hosts Cameroon will still participate in the qualifiers even though they are guaranteed a spot in the finals regardless of their ranking in the group .
