Beyoncé concert film, “Homecoming” has received 6 Emmys from the 2019 Emmy normations announced on Tuesday 16, July .
“Homecoming” is a live concert film which premiered on Netflix April 17
It was nominated for: outstanding variety special( prerecorded) , outstanding writing for a variety special, outstanding production design for variety special, outstanding costumes for a variety( non fiction or reality programming) , outstanding directing for a variety special and outstanding music direction .
The 2019 Emmy Awards will be held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday September 22.
Meanwhile, the film has generated mixed reactions on Twitter as some Twitter users feel Homecoming isn’t a movie or TV series and so shouldn’t have been nominated, some other users are excited about the 6 nominations the film got .
