Court finds South African police officer who shot a Nigerian man at close range guilty.

A court has found a South African police officer, Austin Luciano Reynold, guilty for the 2018 murder of a Nigerian man, Ebuka Okori, in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal, Channels TV reports.

Ebuka was shot at close range during an unauthorised raid by the police officer in January 2018.

Austin, who appeared before Judge Shyam Gyanda on Friday on one charge of murder and three charges of robbery, was found guilty on all four charges.

One of his accomplices reportedly testified against him in court .

His sentencing is yet to be decided by the court .
