Police allegedly freed a 75-year-old HIV Positive man who raped a girl after paying N370K settlement (photos)

Police have allegedly freed a HIV patient identified as Chief Shedrack Ejinwa,75, who was arrested for raping a 14-year-old girl, after paying N370k settlement .

According to report, the victim, who was receiving treatment at Kendox Medical Services in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was allegedly instructed by the wife of the owner of the clinic not to reveal what transpired between her and the rapist to anyone .

However, a Facebook user alerted activist Harrison Gwamnishu, who got the HIV positive rapist and the wife of the hospital’s medical director arrested.

But they were allegedly freed by the police after the family of the rapist paid N370K settlement.

The girl said she was forced to accept the settlement.
