South Africa music legend, Johnny Clegg is dead
A legendry South African Singer, Johnny Clegg is dead.
Johnny, who blended Zulu rhythms with western styles and as well a defied apartheid segregation, passed on to glory after battling with cancer for over four years.
He died yesterday in his family house at age 66. It could be recalled that he was diagnosed of cancer in 2015 but that didn’t stop him from touring round the world with his singing.
In some mournful words by South Africans, it was seen that John Clegg was really a legend who can never be forgotten so soon.
Amongst thousands of mournful words includes ” We are blessed to have seen him…we will keep working for the country of his.”
Clegg is survived by his wife Jenny, and two sons Jesse and Jaro.
