Video: EFCC officials seal off Rochas Foundation College, Owerri, barr over 900 students from gaining access to the school
Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision,EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office led by a team of armed government official on Tuesday stormed the Rochas Okorocha Foundation College in Owerri, Imo State to seal it off.
East High Academy and East High College both Private Primary and Secondary Schools respectively, located at new Owerri, Imo State, cater for academic needs of less-privileged children .
The schools to belong to Uloma Nwosu, wife of former Imo state Chief of Staff, and Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, daughter of former Imo State Governor,Rochas Okorocha.
According to eyewitness reports, EFCC officials led by state officials gained access to the school premises by force and molested students on ground.
Several students sustained varied degrees of injuries and are now currently receiving treatment, with a female student on her monthly period reportedly kicked in the stomach, one of the witnesses said.
Rochas Foundation has been in existence for over 20 years and at the moment, the EFCC is yet to issue an official statement on the development.
