We Are Not Backing Down On Strike – NLC

The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC has said that it’s planned strike will still hold since the government decided to remove the petrol subsidy without the needed consultation with relevant stakeholders.

According to the Union’s president, he said that there can be no neutral negotiations when the government has already done what it wants to do without considering the citizens and the hardship they might face.

The NLC boycotted a recent meeting with the Federal Government because of this.
