Three sisters, pregnant woman killed in fatal accident in Edo
A pregnant woman and three sisters have been killed in a fatal accident which occurred on Saturday morning, October 26 in Uselu Community along Benin-Lagos highway.
An eyewitness said that the sisters and the pregnant woman were standing by the roadside waiting for a commercial bus to take them to the New Benin market when a man driving a BMW alongside his wife in the car, lost control and rammed into them.
“This morning, four girls were killed. They were waiting for bus when the car came and hit them. They wanted to jump but couldn”t because of the sand and side drains” the eyewitness said.
The driver and his wife however survived the accident.
The remains of the deceased persons have been evacuated.
